Mr. Gupta will provide valuable leadership and direct strategic technology development, with emphasis on the Asia-Pacific markets.

Mr. Gupta is a veteran of the Indian Broadcasting Industry. He is the former Chairman & Managing Director of Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Ltd. (BECIL), a Govt. of India Enterprise, providing consultancy & turn-key solutions to the Broadcast Industry. Prior to BECIL, Mr. Gupta served All India Radio & Doordarshan, the Public-Service Broadcaster, in senior positions, having rich experience in dealing with every aspect of Broadcast Engineering from conceptual planning to system design, management and O&M activities of large broadcast stations, R&D, training, HRD and project implementation.

Some of the key achievements of his career, spanning over 37 years, are implementation of Multi-Channel Common Transmission Infrastructure for private FM stations spread through out India, Revamping & Restoration of Broadcast set-ups in Afghanistan, State-of-art media monitoring centre for 24X7 content monitoring/storage of 600 TV channels broadcasting in India, Multi-media studios in President-House, 24Hr. Parliament TV channel, building infrastructure for High-definition TV coverage of Common Wealth Games-2010, Delhi and Hi-Tech International Press Centre, Establishment of CATV Head-ends in remote villages and bringing world-class CATV training to India in association with SCTE, UK.

He has been responsible for establishing the most power full Short-wave Station of All India Radio near Bangalore providing overseas radio broadcast services to various continents. He has also been responsible for providing DRM compatible, super-power medium-wave transmitters for the western & eastern borders of India, ushering in the implementation of the Digital Radio- Broadcasting in India.
